Wild Turkey Search
Thursday, November 30, 2023

Wilderness Academy is a science and project-based education designed for students aged 7 and older. Each session combines educational activities and games with take-home learning extensions to help students do more in-depth exploration on related topics.

Biologist can learn a lot about animals using a tool called radio telemetry from population numbers to migration patterns. We will learn about this great tool and how to use it. Children will then hit the trails with the antenna to see if they can find a turkey decoy with a radio collar on it.
