Mud Lake Wildlife Area Bird Hike, Thursday, June 26, 8-11am.
Join members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club as we explore the Mud Lake Wildlife Area. Walk along an access road leading to the Crawfish River. We will bird along a riverine corridor passing some grasslands along the way on our way to some scrub-carr wetland. Mud Lake Wildlife Area is 4500 acres in size and the western hotspot has 155 species on the checklist. Possibility for flycatchers, herons, woodpeckers, swallows and waterfowl!
