Saturday, October 12 from 4:30-6pm.
Join educators at the Palmatory Picnic Shelter an hour before sunset at 4:30pm for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead. Food will be available for a suggested donation while you enjoy the evening.
Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.
Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions! Staff and volunteers from the International Crane Foundation will be on site to answer all of your Sandhill and Whooping Crane questions as well.
Soup, chili, baked items and other goodies will be available for a suggested donation to the Horicon Marsh Bird Club or Friends of Horicon Marsh.
