Event Series Event Series: Little Naturalists: Plant Life Cycles

Little Naturalists Program: Thursday, May 4 and 18, 10am-11am.

Help your littles discover a love for nature with our Little Naturalist Program. Join us as we uncover the natural world around us using literature, music, play and hands on discovery. Best for ages 10 and under. (still twice a month on Thursdays, different themes each month)

Spring is here and the ground has finally woken up! Flowers here, shoots of grasses there, and colors sprouting up around us. But what have they been doing all winter long and why do they decide to wake up now? Come along with us as we discover the life cycle of plants and the importance of soil health for growing the delicious food we like to eat all summer long!

The event will be held at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, WI.  Free and no registration required.  Contact Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893 or elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov for information.
