The World Around Us: Science Labs: Geocaching and the Endangered Species Act: Thursday, July 9, 1-4pm

“The Eagle has landed!” “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” How did the image of the Earth rising from the moon change human perception of the Earth? We learned the hard way that Earth is limited, fragile, and yet a unified ecosystem. Learn how to use GPS units to go on a geocaching adventure, where at each station you’ll discover more about the people and laws that helped change the Earth for the better. Join us and learn how to care for our ONE and ONLY Earth.
