This event is not impacted by the federal shutdown.

Saturday, October 11 from 5:00-6:30pm.

Join educators an hour before sunset at 5:00pm for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead.

The location of this event will be the picnic shelter at the Palmatory Street Overlook.  Address is 1210 North Palmatory Street, Horicon, WI.

Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.

Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions!

All programs are free and open to the public. Bring a chair and binoculars if you have them as we enjoy a fall evening at the marsh!

No registration required. For more information please call Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893 or e-mail her at elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.
