Birding Old Marsh Road: Sunday, August 30, 8-11am (Leslie, Jeff, Michael, and Brad to lead)

This is the last weekend that Old Marsh Road is open to the public! Join members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club for one last hurrah through this beautiful area! Viewing highlights in August include multiple species of water birds such as black-necked stilts, American bittern, and common gallinule. Shorebird migration has begun by this time, so we will search for plovers, sandpipers, dowitchers, stilts and more! You will be walking gravel dike tops, up to 3 miles. Wear good walking shoes and bring water.

Meet at the East end of Old Marsh Road at the intersection of Point Road North and Point Road West. GPS coordinates of 43.611157 -88.616254. https://maps.app.goo.gl/pdYYCNB8fQ94pEGi6
