DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our first annual Ice Cream Social on Palmatory Hill!  Hosted by the Friends of Horicon Marsh and the Wisconsin DNR\, we invite you to come explore our new picnic shelter\, surrounding gardens\, and newly installed memorials all while enjoying a beautiful sunset and a delicious treat. Scoops from our local shop “The Ice Cream Station” will be sold to support our newly created scholarship fund.\n\n– $2 scoops of assorted ice cream flavors will be sold by the Friends of Horicon Marsh\n– Enjoy an evening stroll on one of our trails or simply sit and enjoy the sunset with your treat in hand!\n– Educational programming provided by the Wisconsin DNR\n\nLocation is 1210 North Palmatory Street\, Horicon\, WI.

SUMMARY:Crane Watch (Palmatory Picnic Shelter)
DESCRIPTION:Join educators at the NEW Palmatory Picnic Shelter an hour before sunset for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead.  Sandhill cranes\, Canada geese\, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.  Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions!\n\nPicnic dinners are encouraged.\n\nAll programs are free and open to the public. Location is the Palmatory Picnic Shelter at 1210 N. Palmatory Street\, Horicon\, WI.\nNo registration required.
