DESCRIPTION:Storybook Trail Walk: March 14 and 28 at 10am. \nCome for a stroll on the boardwalk and Indermuehle Island Trail as we read our March Storybook Trail all about maple sugaring!  In this month’s story\, Ethan is eager for maple syrup and can’t wait until sugaring time rolls around.  And he can’t wait until his loose tooth falls out.  But his father keeps telling him it’s not time yet\, and no matter how hard he tries\, he can’t make time pass more quickly.  The closeness of father and son is evident throughout as they wait and then celebrate the end of waiting.  Trails are mostly level and hike will be just over a mile in length.  All ages are welcome! \nNo registration is required.  Meet by the front doors at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 Highway 28\, Horicon\, WI.  For additional information please contact Liz Herzmann at 920-210-9054 or elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.

DESCRIPTION:Hop into Spring!!: March 26\, 27\, 2:00-3:00PM \nThe return of spring means that many of our reptiles and amphibians are starting to come out of their winter hibernation.  We can be some of the first people to see and hear these amazing animals as they wake up and start to fill our spring ponds.  We will be heading out into the field to listen for the sounds of early spring frogs; be sure to bring sturdy footwear. \nEvent will be held  outdoors following current COVID social distancing requirements.  No registration is required.  Please meet at the entrance of the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 Highway 28\, Horicon\, WI.  For additional information please contact Liz Herzmann at 920-210-9054 or elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.

DESCRIPTION:Storybook Trail Walk: March 14 and 28 at 10am. \nCome for a stroll on the boardwalk and Indermuehle Island Trail as we read our March Storybook Trail all about maple sugaring!  In this month’s story\, Ethan is eager for maple syrup and can’t wait until sugaring time rolls around.  And he can’t wait until his loose tooth falls out.  But his father keeps telling him it’s not time yet\, and no matter how hard he tries\, he can’t make time pass more quickly.  The closeness of father and son is evident throughout as they wait and then celebrate the end of waiting.  Trails are mostly level and hike will be just over a mile in length.  All ages are welcome! \nNo registration is required.  Meet by the front doors at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 Highway 28\, Horicon\, WI.  For additional information please contact Liz Herzmann at 920-210-9054 or elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.
