DESCRIPTION:Community Science Day: August 19: 7am-2pm \nHave you ever wanted to see a bird up close and in the hand\, tag a monarch or learn how to catch dragons and damsels?  Join us as we welcome experts to showcase all the ways that you can build your community science skills! Watch Riveredge Nature Center bird bander\, Jana\, up close from 7-11am.  Join members of the Wisconsin Dragonfly Society from 9:30-11:30am to learn tricks on identification and how to catch these flying phenoms.  Tag a monarch at the beginning of its journey to Mexico from 12:30-2pm!  From 10am-1pm\, representatives from Rock River Coalition\, a local non-profit\, will demonstrate how to sample for and identify aquatic macroinvertebrates – insects\, shellfish\, and other critters that live underwater.
